ABOUT KAATII

Dallas based, Indie-Pop Artist KAATII, creates an introspective vibe that is well beyond her years.  She started songwriting at the young age of 11, and has co-written with Grammy nominated and balloted songwriters like Bonnie Baker, Kara Connolly, and Alissa Moreno, as well as acclaimed artists Chlo Subia and Andrew Tufano.

Born Anna Katherine, KAATII is inspired by the Hungarian nickname for her middle name. It’s a tribute to her family heritage on both sides, as she was named after family on her mom’s side and her paternal grandmother is Hungarian. Family has always been a big source of strength for KAATII.

At 6 years old, KAATII’s world lit up after her first encounter with a friend’s guitar.  This new fascination led to her receiving a 3/4 acoustic on her 7th birthday and the rest is history.

KAATII’s first gig was at a small coffee house in Dallas at the age of 10. Since than, she performed at local Dallas spots including Opening Bell Coffee, Six Flags, Gaylord Texan, Plano Balloon Festival, Guitars & Growlers and most recently, the House of Blues.

Influenced by artists such as Beabadoobee, Clairo, and King Princess, KAATII continues to make music to evoke thoughtful creativity with a cool mood.
